Apparently a couple of us have found some troubles posting messages on the site. I have a feeling everyone may be having the same problem, and if so, please message me. I am trying to find a solution soon, my greatest apologies. April 22 Edit: Posting is working for me (Zeph), and a couple other people have posted successfully. Hopefully the problem is fixed completely, let me know if it isn't for you!

I'd just like to apologize for the delay in everything. My laptop cord was crushed during moving, but I'm back now so everything will be tended to either tonight or tomorrow. Rule 4 added here. Thank you all!

New Skin!! WE ARE YOUNG. It's highly recommended you change to it, as some things may still need tweaking on the other skins to agree with the semi-new layout.

I'm just letting everyone know that I have modified the rule on Colored Usernames. Instead of having to pay for every letter (for gradients), you only pay for the two on either end. However, for multicolored names (like rainbow non-gradients) you will have to pay for every color. Thanks!

Summer's finally here! That means the days are hot, and King Feral is teeming with life - both human and stray. Accompanying the heat is a mass of humidity, so staying in the shade is advised and hydrating often. Besides the beach and warmth, you can look foreword to the sound of puppy paws and new family members!
big announcements (1 sub-board) Besides the little updates we set in the sidebar, there are larger stuff like activity checks and contests that happen, so we'll put it all right here for your viewing convenience.
alphas only (1 sub-board) Zeph is getting tired of messaging each staff member the same message when she wants to tell them something. So, here's the board where they'll hold secret staff club meetings and talk smack about all you infidels. RÉSERVÉ AUX PERSONNEL , MUFUFU

deep dark woods Sometimes an unsuspecting traveler vanishes within the dense dark wood where creatures from the largest of elks to the smallest of mice scavange daily. There are rumors, whispers of a cat clan who claim these forested lands as their own. Only the foolish who dare traverse the twisting trees know for certain, those lucky few who escaped with another tale to tell.
the road in A wide hard flat river of blacken stone flowed effortlessly through the wild lands, leading straight through the heart of town. Occasionally one might see the tumbling remains of a stone wall meant to keep critters off the road of man made asphalt. Have a care of the occasional speeding vehicle, least you become roadkill.
the bridge Following that road one would come across old stones, skillfully placed to form a bridge. The simple yet complicated arch allowed a small stream beneath to flow unchecked, spilling into the wide expanse of the lake.
the lake Tendrils of mist raise high above the serene calm surface of a seemingly placid lake. Towering birch, twisting oaks, and thick ground vegetation crowd the shores, making this a somewhat reclusive body of water. Those skilled in fishing might find a large mouth bass or perhaps even a trout hanging out along the shores, have a care though, you might end up taking a bath.
cole's pasture A white picket fence encircles a large plot of land, those daring enough to cross it's pale borders will find several sheep, goats, and cattle. Even the bravest of brave would hesitate to take these animals as prey, for with the exception of dawn and dusk they are guarded by a canine, whose human isn't far behind. Along the far south side you can just make out the farmhouse and its small barn.
the mine Set half way hidden in the side of a hill one might come across a wide open mouth into the heart of the earth. Steel tracks lead the curious down a long tunnel, the remains of old shovels, and pick axes lay scattered about as a testament that man too had touched this area. One might even find an a vein of glittering gold snaking its way along the carved stone wall.
monte dog park Thick prickly grass in a wide open field, a scattering of young pine for shade encased within the chain links of blacken fence make up the dog park. A place where humans bring their pets to socialize. Tall oaks bump against the fencing giving the park an almost cut off from the rest of the world feel.
the junk yard Twisted metal, towering structures that were so precarious stacked one would think at any moment it would tumble to the earth, line the narrow debris littered pathways of dirt to make up the local junkyard. Tall fencing with barbed wire circle round the property. With the wide metal doors being open only during business hours. Careful about getting locked in at night, the resident canines here aren't to keen on trespassers.
king feral memorial center Up the marble stone steps, and past the massive pillars deep within the open heart of this memorial one would find an image of the town's founder carved deeply into the white stone. A source of pride to the community this is a good place to find a flock of humans at any hour of the day. Warm and welcoming this is a place often used as neutral territory between enemies or rivals to meet civilly.
the public pool A favorite place among the locals, located just off the beaten path on the outskirts of the town one would hear the sound of laughter and splashing waters long before you reach this man-made body of water. But be sure to visit at night if you want to take a dip, once all the human's have gone home, they tend to get picky when it comes to dog hair in the pool.
carnival The carnival is a new attraction that has just been erected in King Feral. The town's people hope that it becomes a famous attraction and that they raise enough money to keep it up permanently. Until then, it is a big hit for this summer, drawing in many humans and strays. The park consists of two roller coasters, a Ferris wheel that overlooks the whole county, and many other fun carnival rides such as a scrambler, the spider, a carousel, many delicious snack stands, and of course game booths. The park opens at nine in the morning and ends at midnight.
walking the streets Foxden is filled with classy estates and middle class houses alike. The houses are well spread out, allowing five to ten acres to each lot. For the strays, there is always a garbage can at the end of driveways, though what it's edible contents may be varies from can to can. Certain houses have food set out on their porches for wandering animals, a sign that some are rather welcoming, though lingering too long isn't recommended.
the van talena mansion In the back of Foxden lies a fifty acre estate on the top of a large hill. In the midst of dense woods and overgrown wild flowers stands the main house, a garden shed, and a barn. The main house has long been abandoned, but it leaves behind a structure untouched by human hands and open to the feral world. While there is no furniture, it does hold ten open bedrooms, three library spaces (empty bookshelves covering the walls) and several bathrooms, fully equipped. The house is two stories high, with several odd entrance holes around the property. claimed by the luxe.
feral mountains Making up the backdrop of our county is a long chain of lush mountains. They are not very tall, but just high enough to get a little snow on the tops all year around. The life on this mountain is mostly made up of mountain goats and wild horses, plus the random foxes or hawks that build their nests on the slopes. claimed by the claudius.
spiderlight cemetery Located south of the town for about a half a mile sits the large cemetery, well known as Spiderlight. The cemetery dates back to the beginnings of the county, probably one of the first pieces of land to actually have structures. There is a surprising amount of graves here, even ones that are unmarked by the traditional grey gravestones that make up the cemetery's decor. The graveyard is surrounded by a tall black iron fence, with a large column arch making up the entrance. In the very back of the cemetery is a good two acres full of large crypts.
king feral golf course Off in the back of King Feral stands the very big golf course, a favorite of the town's male adult residence. The golf course is packed with sand and water traps, graceful hills and fancy wind mills. There is no fence surrounding it, with three sides of the hundred acre area being bordered by the forest that makes up the backdrop of our county. So, the course is generally open to pesty strays and deer, a nice hang out for all.
zoo of exotics (1 sub-board) Located just a little ways from the golf course is King Feral's very own Zoo of Exotic Animals. The zoo has no external fence, only those that keep the animals in their own exhibits, so for the most part strays are free to wander in and out -though humans still have to pay at the main gate. The zoo holds animals of extreme species, from all areas of the world; tigers, lions, elephants, giraffes, pandas, bears, dolphins, and so on.
the beach (1 sub-board) A private paradise for the people of King Feral, the beach is located just a couple miles outside of town. It is only busy during the summer, where it's packed with people and activities. For the other three seasons, it's a desolate haven for the animals of King Feral, where they can go to relax and not be bothered by any of the humans. The beach is about three miles long, with crystal blue water. Towards the north, the waters are crowded with large rocks, making it hard to swim.
the banter board (3 sub-boards) Within this board, one will find the great place where you can discuss freely about anything you want, hold games, polls, debates, anything you'd like! Just keep it PG 13.
graphics (3 sub-boards) Here you members can make your own graphics shop for other members! Or, if you're not sure who to request from, you can always just post it outside of a shop and see who gets to it first. Let the graphics stuff begin!
Hello there, friend. Before you is a site that is active, fun and rather laid back. We are a stray dog role play based in a fictitious county called King Feral, which is nothing more than an old town in the middle of the woods - you might even say podunk. Despite this, we have strays from all over the world who have found themselves stuck in a town where everyone wants out. We have two packs - the Claudius and the Luxe, but truthfully it is a free for all plot, with no alliances or even a strict, lengthy history you need to follow. No matter what level role player you are, we have members that are in every field from new to advanced - you'll fit right in. So why not try us out? Be careful though - small towns have a habit of eating people up.
